Last night the Green Century Institute, PlaNetwork and Fillmore Solari, along with Progressive Democrats of SF, hosted a salon and fundraiser for Matt Gonzalez, the Green Mayoral Candidate who is running a tight race with Democrat Gavin Newsom. The event was a smash - we raised $4000 for the campaign and as a group were further enlightened as to the incredible potential his election holds, not only for San Francisco, but for political awareness and change worldwide.
People are taking to the streets here for Matt. The energy is remarkable.
If you live in SF or know someone who does, please pass the word: VOTE! If logistics is a problem, one can vote anytime at City Hall (I did today). This election is very close - one vote could be the tipping point!
